Kiddie Kampus Preschool, a ministry of Zion Lutheran Church, provides a warm and stimulating environment where children can come to explore and discover the world in which they live. We exist to teach children to gain confidence in their skills as learners, adapt to group experiences, and to respect others.

We believe that young children learn best through hands-on, concrete experiences which provides a strong foundation in their ability to learn new things.

We also offer a large open room is available for indoor gross motor time. We go outdoors in the fall and spring, weather permitting.

We have several specialized areas in the classroom including: free choice/manipulative area, circle time area, project area, book nook area, sensory table area and gross motor area. The bathroom is located in the classroom.

There are always two adults in the classroom, a lead teacher and a teacher’s aide.

Enrollment is limited to 15 students per class session. This provides increased individualized instruction for each child and a student/teacher ratio of 7.5:1.

We have three family programs during the school year; one in October for a Harvest Celebration, the second in December for a Birthday Party for Jesus, and the third in the spring for a Graduation Ceremony.

We offer two parent/teacher conferences during the school year. Of course, we are always willing to meet with parents about any concerns.

Kiddie Kampus is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and a health review is done annually by a registered nurse.

Schedule

We have two individualized sessions to best meet the developmental needs of children. The curriculum is tailored to the two different classes providing age-specific academic lessons. Both classes are in session from September to May with breaks coordinating with the local public school district.

Discovery Class

Tuesday and Thursday
9:30 am–11:30 am
(Children must be 3 by September 1 of enrolled school year)

Exploration Class

Monday, Wednesday, Friday
9:30 am–11:30 am or 12:15 pm–2:15 pm
(Children must be 4 by September 1 of enrolled school year)

Registration and Fees

Register your child for a class by filling out the Registration Form (PDF) or (DOC). The form can also be obtained by calling our church office at 651–459–3010.

A non-refundable $30.00 registration fee must accompany the registration form to hold your child’s spot in the desired class.
A one-time $55.00 supply and equipment fee is due upon enrollment.

Tuition

• $80 a month for the Discovery Class (Tuesday/Thursday) for 9 months
• $98 a month for the Exploration Classes (Monday/Wednesday/Friday) for 9 months
